Day 1: Transit to Kibale Forest National Park
Upon arrival, meet and greet with your guide, depart from Kampala arriving Fort Portal on time for Lunch. After Lunch, visit the community – YAWE Project before proceeding to the Park for dinner and over night at the Lodge/Camp. FB
Day 2: Chimpanzee Habituation Experience
After an early breakfast, you will proceed to Kibale Forest National Park, f
or Chimpanzee Habituation Experience. The chimpanzee Habituation Experience allows you to accompany Kibale’s researchers during their daily activities; thereby getting them used to human presence without altering their natural behavior. You can expect to see the chimps de-nesting (coming out of their nocturnal nests) between 05:30-06:30, before following them through the day until they create new nests and retire for the night around 19:00. Dinner & Overnight the Lodge/Camp. FB
Day 3: Departure
Have a relaxed breakfast and set off for a nature walk in Bigodi wetland sanctuary, After lunch drive to Kampala, depending on the time of your flight, proceed to Entebbe International Airport to catch the flight back home.
